This project transforms a cultural heritage site into a high-end fitness and spa center, inspired by resort aesthetics and the richness of travel.

Key historical elements — exposed structure, brickwork, skylights, stained glass — are preserved.

The interior emphasizes spaciousness and light with timeless materials and soft tones. Refined textures and calm geometry unify the spaces, avoiding industrial clichés.

The result is a place of renewal, where heritage meets contemporary hospitality.

Within this proposal, to meet the operator’s requirements for area and visitor flow, we positioned the swimming pool on the basement level and introduced a cut-back along the western facade.

This brings natural light into the space, creates a landscaped sunken courtyard, and gives the pool the atmosphere of a spa rather than a typical underground facility. The planted lightwell enhances the sense of privacy and elevates the overall premium character of the fitness club.
